Captain: Michael Mazarinos
Leading the team is 48 year-old Michael Mazarinos. Born and raised in Athens, Captain Michael is a graduate of the Aspropirgos Merchant Marine Academy (holds an A Class captain diploma)
He has gained an extensive experience at sea working from officer up to Captain in Cummings cargo ships, motor tankers, harbour tugs, life-boats and private yachts , in Porto Fino,French and Italian Riviera, Carribean. Michael speaks English and enjoys travelling , a good conveation, reading and snorkelling.
Engineer: Fotis Vagelatos
Fotis was born in Athens in 1970 and graduated as an engineer from the National Marine Lyceum. He started his career in 1990 as an apprentice engineer on merchant ships and then as chief engineer on ferries, tankers and flying dolphins. Fotis holds all fire fighting, resque at sea and first aid certificates. He speaks English.
Chef: Yannis Bolotas
Yannis Bolotas is the former chef of “TiJuka” and “PJ”. Born in Athens in 1957, he started working as a chef on luxury yachts in 1995. Ten years later, having worked both on private and charter yachts, he brings his wealth of experience on board the “Angel”.. He cooks Greek and International cuisine -specializes in Greek– and pastries. Speaks English and some Spanish.
Stewart: Tasos Stafilakis
Tasos was born in Athens in 1961. After graduating the Patras Tourism College he was trained in F&B at the Athens Hilton and attended relevant seminars in Switzerland. Before joining the team on “Angel” Tasos has worked as a restaurant manager and maitre d’hotel in many exclusive restaurants and 5 star hotels, including the “La Mouet” piano-restaurant in Athens and the “Knossos Palace” and “Hersonissos Palace” hotels in Crete. Speaks good English and German, communicates in French and Italian.
Deckhand: Spyros Ioannou
Born in Athens in 1967, Spyros has more than 10 years experience at sea, 6 of which on private yachts. He holds all the necessary updated seaman certificates, speaks English and enjoys fishing.
